" My wife and I enjoyed our Saturday lunch in the Strand. We were given a lovely table opposite the picture-window. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful without at any time being intrusive. The mussels special was excellent, and the portion size was more than ample. When I asked for a little bread to mop up the really tasty garlic and white wine sauce some lovely toasted homemade bread arrived with no fuss. My wife had freshly cooked lemon sole which she enjoyed. No mean cook herself, she raved about her dessert of nut roulade with lemon curd and cream which had been recommended to her.
A most enjoyable lunch experience. We shall return!!

" Lovely spot, fantastic menu, lots of local producers and food is gorgeous! Great wine selection, lots of Irish craft beers and spirits behind the bar. Amazing views of the sea and tiny harbour below. Highly recommend for a lazy Sunday lunch after a walk on the beach, winter or summer!"
