The Strand Cahore is in operation under the current owners since 2nd January 2018, now entering its 5th season. The Team is made up of a dynamic, passionate, friendly and professional group of people who through their hard work and dedication have obtained numerous awards and accreditations
Located just 15 minutes from Gorey Town and 35 minutes from Wexford Town on the Irish Coast overlooking the sea, your new role will be positioned in one of the most idyllic locations on the East Coast, offering a flexible 4-day week, with competitive rates and a training system that will see you through your career and progression throughout the years.

The Strand Cahore is an award-winning restaurant overlooking the Irish sea, in operation since 1893 and in its current ownership since 2018. It is poised for further growth in the coming years ahead, and is now ready to take on an Assistant Manager to support our owners and senior management team along the way.
Because we are known for exceptional customer experiences, we are looking for an Assistant Manager who can become the face of our business, providing attentive service at every turn. Our ideal candidate will be well-versed in all areas of the hospitality business, with specialized skills in scheduling, delegating, targets, customer services and motivating. He or she will be an inspiring team member ready to ensure productivity and quality performance to achieve our long-term vision and maintain our ethos of a family run, friendly business for our team and guests.
Objectives of this Role
Gain a complete understanding of specific goals, objectives, and our guest needs
Help build a well-developed and high-performing team that works together collaboratively
Work closely with our team to ensure we are providing consistently excellent food and service,
Maintain an environment that is unique, inviting, friendly and carefully laid out
Set daily employee objectives and schedules to achieve and exceed productivity and sales goals
Monitor performance and report on progress
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
