There are many items you can hold in your larder but there are more clever and durable items you can hold that can be used in more than one recipe. When you have these items and use them across several recipes, this is when you will realise that all this baking nonsense is a 'piece of cake'!

1. Eggs
2. Cream Flour
3. Wholemeal Flour (Howards Extra Course) available in all large grocers
4. Baking Powder
5. Bread Soda
6. Salt
7. Castor Sugar
8. Unsalted Butter
9. Milk
10. Cream
11. Lemons
12. Vanilla Bean Paste (Taylor & Colledge Organic Vanilla Bean Paste) available in all large grocers
13. Cocoa Powder

If you have the above basics, there are many things you can make at the drop of a hat!
