Wholemeal Scones

450g Howards Extra Course Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
60g Golden Castor Sugar
1 pinch Salt
85g Unsalted Butter
120mls Cold Milk
2 Eggs

Pre-heat the oven to 200º
Line a baking tray with grease proof paper
Put flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl and blend together
In a separate bowl whisk together your eggs and milk
Pop your cubbed room temperature butter and egg/milk mix into your mixing bowl of dry ingredients
Now bring together with your mixer/kitchen aid
Pop your dough to a floured surface and roll out to 1-2" thickness and cut our your scone shape
Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with porridge oats
Place in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown
