Braised Red Cabbage

Stage 1

1 bag Sliced Red Cabbage
4 small Sliced Red Onions
140g Soft Brown Sugar
140ml Cider Vinegar
300ml Red Wine (cooking)
200g Butter
1 tbl spoon Cinnamon

Method
Put all of the abvoe ingredients in to a large pot
Bring to a simmer and then cover with a lid
Lower the heat and cook for 1.5 - 2 hours, stirring every so often
Remove the lid and continue to cook for 30 minutes
This can be frozen once cooled
